OUR STORY

Flame Made journey starts with our love for pizza and wanting to have authentic Neapolitan at home.

With a family of 5 and everyone liking different toppings we decided to try and make our own. Turns out, it was a very rewarding and enjoyable experience.

Our children absolutely love making pizzas.

We initially started making them in our kitchen oven but were never satisfied with the results. We had the dough making perfected but unfortunately our oven wasn't up to the task of cooking the perfect pizza.

So after much research we decided to buy our first pizza oven. We have experimented with different types of pizzas and different doughs.

We've had friends round for parties and have cooked pizzas for them and they are a huge hit.

We are getting married in July 2024. As we have a love for pizza you can imagine our first choice for food was Pizza. However the quotes we were getting were more than our food budget. We had to settle for a hog roast. It did us make wonder why companies charge so much for weddings.

Fast forward 6 months and I had to leave my job for medical reasons. This got me thinking about what to next regarding jobs. So I decided to set off at 4am to travel to Wales with my lovely wife to be, to collect an empty shell horsebox. Completing the trip in 12 hours.

I then spent 6 weeks converting the horsebox into the trailer you see today.

My aim is to provide Pizzas for weddings, parties and events for a reasonable cost. We also do Pizza pop ups at campsites and villages.

MEET THE TEAM

The team consists of myself Carl (the owner), Lou (wife to be) and when needed my son Oscar.

Our main pizza testers for new recipes are Lou

and our 5 year old daughter who is obsessed with Pizza and was always asking to help build the trailer.

We are a small family run business.
